>>17452392>tryhardNo. Good? Yes, they can try but I don't want someone who'll get salty over a loss, and tryhards are like that.
>singersI hope they embrace the Idol-dom, so yes singers are highly preferred.
>artiststhey're useful for stuff but drawing streams are only good if they have an asmr tier voice, and I don't even watch/listen to asmr. It just helps them have comfy slow streams.
>musicianssame vein as singers
>wholesome or edgyI'm okay with both so long as they aren't super meheras, I don't want another Mori. Edgy can be good if you aren't afraid to make fun of yourself and take it all too seriously, as well as don't lean into it all the time. Wholesome doesn't really ever present many problems except maybe being to soft on leeches or collab beggars or something.
Honestly my majorly preferred archetype is egotistic in a sense because it's pretty much just me. A class clown type that could get along with anyone and make them laugh a lot, especially their genmates for that sweet sweet good gen vibe. They don't have to be the best musician/singer because the whole idol thing is watching people improve and cheering them on, but it's a plus. Aside from that once they've got a good personality it's all about being a good streamer. Though I would like them to all put their foot down on the annoying twitter/reddit fuckers who all seem to think about the guys as just a Hololive accessory and not their own thing, especially around debut, because if they don't it's all downhill from there.
