The second is because the fame she gains from being a vtuber isn't the kind of fame she wants. She's egotistical and her idea of fame is to be like a Hollywood celebrity, with her face plastered everywhere. And this ouroboros ties back to the first reason - she genuinely does not understand how lucky she was to end up in Hololive and how life changingly awesome that opportunity was for her. There are literary thousands of chuubas out there who'd kill for the opportunity she was handed on a silver platter, and she seems totally oblivious to that. She's like a boxer who stepped into the ring and then started complaining and whining despite the fact her opponent has one hand tied behind her back. She even has the gall to call these terms unfair.
There are hundreds of successful chuubas out there. All understand the culture, work hard, have discipline and are doing their best even under adversity. And we love, respect and admire them. Then there are the thousands of chuubas waiting and working towards their big break. And then there's Mori, who sees all that as "wrong" and claims the audience is somehow at fault for her own stupidity, absence of effort, discipline and work. Mori has been defeated not by /vt/, not by some hypothetical antis or haters, but through her own incompetence. And it is other women who set the standards in the industry. Mori failed in the eyes of other women more than in the eyes of /vt/ or anyone else. There are standards in vtubing, and it was girls like Korone, Pekora, Miko and many others who set them. Even in her own gen ALL the girls are doing their best and are SUCCEEDING in adhering to the standards, and they each bring something to the table.
At what point does this woman become self-aware? By all means, do return to your previous life. Do whatever you want with your life. But don't pretend to be a victim. Everything that happened to her so far is the result of her own actions. She did nothing to deserve the money she got through being a part of Myth, and she did not deserve loyalty from her fans. I respect and admire Gura, Ame, Ina and Kiara. They earned all of that. And I want them to continue being vtubers for as long as possible, and if any of them one day go and do something else I'll keep an eye on them and follow them. This is something Mori will never experience, and she will realize it far too late.
