Suisei wasn't as popular as say Fubuki or Aqua in China and Bilibili keeps almost all the money anyway, China was kind of worthless as a market that's why Cover had no problem jumping out.

How does that work that China is a worthless market, yet other companies(like 2434 or Mea) bend over backwards for them? Not saying they shouldn't have cut them off, especially after their own Chinese branch committed a coup, but that seems like a massive cope.

If this isn't bait, Niji's VR branch is a joint venture with Bilibili so they're actually already pretty insulated/hands-off to begin with. Hololive was pretty unique (and likely considerably more vulnerable) in that HoloCN was a direct subsidiary rather than a separate venture. Mea is an independent and in that precarious position you take what lucky breaks you get.

Kanata on the other hand is a tattletale. Kanata will tell almost everything that happens in her private life.
Just look at how many times Kanata has mentioned Coco during her streams ever since Coco graduated.
Kanata is also mostly the source of what fans know about anemachi which probably pissed off Suisei.
