And if you're supposed to be a mature adult and still can take care of your finances, always running your credit card to the red, and always having to borrow money, you're not responsible and you're basically still a child.
Suisei and Choco don't need a filthy rich fat man because they already make enough money on their own and can handle their expenses. What they want is someone who isn't going to be a burden on them and can maybe give them a nice gift every once in a while.
