As a teenager I often used words I didn't know the meaning to.
Like one time when I was no older than 13, and don't ask me what the context was, I called a guy sitting next to me "mr. vagina". (for context, I'm ESL)
I had no idea what "vagina" meant, neither did he, and the teacher (or was it instruction for some sort of martial arts class? w/e) got really mad at me.
I just looked at the kid I said it to and we both shrugged like "idk what that was about".
Not that this was the only instance of me using a word I didn't know the meaning to, but that's one that comes to mind.

Like the word "bitch", I think more people would be able to identify it as "mean woman" than as it's literary meaning of "female dog".
