To be clear, part of the reason why his is so high is because poorfags from SEA aren't going to be watching his shit, so his views are likely coming from entirely US + Canada, given his subject matter. CPM for US+CAN is HIGH, like $10+ bucks per cpm (1k as views) for normal ads.

Only a gold and bronze for Hololive and a silver for Nijisanji. 6 - 4 split for the top ten which is uncharacteristic since it's usually 7 - 3. It's interesting to note that HoloX is a bunch of ranking fodder but good on SCs so I think it isn't a stretch to say they were a good investment but it is a real shame that it is the 2nd gen in a row where they have no stars.

There is a difference in scale between Pomu reaching 5k up from a 2k median and Reimu reaching 18k on anything in any context.

And it is exactly because of that difference scale that Pomu result is not remarkable, either to prove 5k is a good number (it isn't when her branch mates are getting that on zatsus) or to prove the game is a game that have people excited "to see any playthrough for this game".

I agree that it is a good number for Pomu tho, and also agree that there are people wanting to see that game played but the hype is not even as big as Aki Rose and ARK (to give a silly example)

Starting with Phony because it was faster. Didn't catch it live though, so closest numbers are 179 days and 17 hours till 10 million.

Would make it the 2nd fastest Niji song after Kuzuha's King at 53 days. 10th fastest among Niji-Holo songs.

The issue is that while Hololive fans give huge views to music it seems as if they have picked a few favorites and then don't really bother listening to anything else. Yeah, but the fact that they're going for something risky like HoloAlt instead of an easy cashgrab like a gacha game (which I would've preferred) AND possibly extending their reach in terms of music production at the same time has to mean that they have enough money to support both. It's a risky gamble that could pay handsomely.
They're trying to use the game as a platform for the talents to do content (shows, concerts and whatnot).
Personally I think they're biting much more than they can chew there.
Music wise, it's pretty obvious they're trying to encourage their talents to increase the discography of the company (everyone before Gen 6 has a song).

There are a lot of tourist and she gets less likes/per viewer than normal streams today, but Pomu's Ultimate streamer was an outlier meme stream so not her normal like count at all. And honestly that stream probably had more viewers than 3.9k because even though it was sp Short and didnt have that high CCV, it still had like 6k likes on stream end and then the vod got more views within like 8h of what some of her way longer streams that had similar CCV

Is this actually true, or is this just just a HoloEN thing? For example, Comet's still Suisei's worst-performing original to date (bar raw view count, and even that's rapidly sliding) and I vaguely recall Mogu Mogu Yummy being badly outclassed by Shitsuraku Petri (1 month prior) for months.

I don't think that's even a thing at all, HoloEN or not.

First original song is a buff if it is a character defining song, like Calli's "Could You Please RIP" or Haachama's "RedHeart" but there are plenty of unremarkable ones out there that doesn't achieve the same success or notoriety
