>>17547423That's actually the main reason I think she's 100% legit. It's one thing faking something yourself, but a whole different story if you want to pull others into your lies and make them go with them.
We know from the girls they've seen her irl photos (reminder, she has a visible port sticking from her chest, bruised and ruined chest area and an oxygen machine next to her hospital bed) and shared intimate details about her life and condition. Same with Connor, some of her oldest mods and several other people. If they had something on her, and it would take just one of them, they would most likely call her out. Even if they were just suspicious of her, and didn't have strong enough evidence, they'd most like pull out and cut ties with her. Especially since a lot of those people are somewhat public figures and have to maintain their own image. So being a part of something like that would be a big fucking liability for them and no content creator would want to be a part of a fallout that would be things eventually falling apart.
I'm not saying there are no conspiracies in the world, but the thing about them is that they eventually fall apart. The bigger and more serious a conspiracy is, the faster it fails, because it involves more people and all people are unknowns with unpredictable behaviors. People who hand wave the amount of trouble that goes into maintaining a multi-party conspiracy are who we call conspiracy theorists.
I also get why she doesn't try to prove to people she's really sick. Putting aside her not wanting to dox herself and not wanting people to give her charity money - just think about what would it take for people to finally STFU. Show her medical records (with doxing details blurred)? She could've just printed and faked them. Show her bedroom? She could've used a picture of someones else room, maybe a sick relative. Show her used plasma bags and pill containers? Bitch, you could get those anywhere and take a photo of them. Show her bruises, assuming she'd be willing to show her chest which she's very sensitive about because of how it looks (even if that wasn't the case, she'd basically showing her tits)? Bro, I've made photo-realistic bruises and injuries with some make up and clay in boyscouts as a kid for first aid courses (yes, I've actually done that irl, people don't realize this is easy af). And also, whatever she'd provide there is always "she's exaggerating her condition" argument you can make. No matter what she shows, the goalpost shifting will never end.
Also, we know she's been recognized by several of her irl acquaintances, especially someone who I won't name but had a hostile relationship with her (no, not Nux). Calling her out if she was faking it would be easy as fuck for them. And they could do in anonymously if they wanted.
What's more, through those 5 years Mousey never really slipped on factual side of her illness, even though she often goes into in-depth random tangents about the details of her condition and how she functions. If you're faking something, small detail over long period of time is where you always slip.
