She was invited for ID because that was essentially the only option (she couldn't be JP for obvious reasons)

A lot of people who followed HoloID thought Lyrica was a shoe in when EN got announced.

a) She doesn't really want to be part of Holo (some say she only treats Vtubing as a Hobby while others say the thing you just mentioned, not wanting to start from Square One and shizz)

It's not a particularly good streaming platform, I've only ever watched streams on there when it was personal friends doing stuff. A lot of boomers and third worlders pretty much only access the internet through there so I guess if you want that audience as a vtuber its there.
