>>17631576>it seems completely unrealisticListen anon, I get it, but consider this much:
>most of these girls are extremely weird hobby autists for one thing or another>at least some of them were weird in that specific way people here are (hard to describe)>there's nothing that keeps anyone from being here, and the concept of "digging through the dirt to find gems" is something any rational adult can understand>when you're a public figure, you tend to desire places you can go without being followed all the timeIt was way, way easier back in Myth times, since even applying for them meant applying for Hololive in March 2020, when pretty much no one in the West except a small fanbase, mostly on /jp/, watched them. Harder for the new ones, but it's at least somewhat easy to get.
And the big coup de grace: People would just want to KNOW. There's a curiosity about what people are saying about you that is really impossible for people to ignore, especially the kinds of people who are attracted to becoming idols/streamers. Hell, we know people like Pekora do it.
Do I think they're all here, hell no, I doubt it for a good chunk of them. Do I think some are, yeah, but I don't think any are on here a lot. Just enough to see and shitpost some times, but not like, a lot. But put yourself in their position: Do you think you'd be able to completely shut that out? You would never be curious? Not even a little?
