Greetings, I am Researcher Gamma from the Yubicraft Institute of Technology. We are a group dedicated to the study of the rare resources and political landscape of the server dating as far back as June 2021. Recently, after the exodus of Kumodachi, there have been attempts (primarily falseflagging, most likely by the Nijisanji factions, but this remains unconfirmed for the time being) at strife in the Inafghanistan Desert over the sand located in that region. We have decided to come public with some information regarding this sand that may be of interest to all of you.
The sand located in this region carries a very interesting quality in it that is currently not known to exist anywhere else in the server. The sand contains a chemical composition known as WAH. It is unknown if this composition was known to Kumodachi when he built here, or if the sheer amount of autism and dedication in the build process lead to a reaction with the sand. What is known, however, is that this composition in the sand when reacted with heat in the process to make glass gives numerous special properties to said glass. Said properties include as follows:
1. A slight glow to the surrounding area.
2. Increased transparency when left clear.
3. Increased color potency when stained.
4. The ability to conduct a redstone signal.
5. When dyed purple, there is an extremely faint afterimage of Ninomae Ina’nis herself.
There is no special properties when the sand is turned into sandstone, and the sandstone in the region has no special properties as well. The reasons for this are unclear, however our primary theory points towards it being too tough for it to penetrate naturally and being too dense for any special properties to be exuded when crafted.
When left in a storage medium such as a bundle, shulker, chest, or inventory for long periods of time (our research only extends outwards of 5 months), there is a chance that the sand disappears and is replaced with a random item. Such items include but may not be limited to as follows:
1. 16 Apples (By far, this is the most common occurrence)
2. 1 Ocelot Spawn Egg (This result has happened 3 times. All times it was spawned, it spawned as a black ocelot already named Nigger-Man. The cats could not be contained and remain missing to this day)
3. Multiple different books, all titled “Arkham Editions Volume X”, with X representing a random number. They are just renamed books, not an actual signed book.
4. One Signed book with an incomprehensible name that when opened resulted in 18 deaths and nearly destroyed the research facility. The book was lost, and the current location is unknown. We have not been able to replicate the spawning of this book for further research.
As you can see, while the sand in the region has immaculate and very useful properties when turned into glass, the sand itself when left outside of the desert in a storage vessel can present a very large danger to anyone involved and possibly the surrounding builds. As such, we highly recommend that the sand is left undisturbed unless you plan to promptly turn in into glass or sandstone.
