In reality the game is just a parasite that occupies the person's mind and placates them with a false sense of security, community, power, family etc. Until eventually, it stops existing. I would know, I was a hardcore WoW raider for a few years. I wouldn't say I regret that time as I did enjoy it, but it is just a gap in my life basically. Ina may eventually come out of that gap and realize "whoaa.. I'm actually an ultra-famous vtuber and there's like a million dollars in my bank account I've let pile up holy shit..." and take things more seriously.
