>Social PlatformYoutube has much better tools for fostering a community and even though it's not difficult to save vods from twitch, the vast majority of Hololive members will simply forget to do that and bleed videos or lose the views to uploading channels. No more community posts, no more channel recommends of other members or related clip videos. Browsing vods is also an absolute shitter on twitch.
>ExposureA good chunk of exposure for Hololive isn't currently active streams, it's clips of archives.
Clips on Twitch aren't circulated around nearly as much, unless they go to youtube. Twitch viewers will mostly keep it on the platform though, so Hololive exposure would be left to rot on twitch.
>VisibilityHololive mostly plays the most recent games or normie shit like MC and Apex, so they won't appear over tournaments, charities and the big dick streamers, so even though Twitch is better for finding stuff, Hololive would get buried. Moreso since Hololive channels (at least on YT) have locale set to Japanese and won't turn up in filtered searches.
