VTubing is in a bubble as much as livestreaming is in a bubble. Which to say, it is not in a bubble. Culturally? Sure. VTubing is expanding and the definition of what it means to be a vtuber is changing from the idol standard. But to say that the bubble is burst and people will suddenly lose interest in them is just false.

We don't know if it's a bubble or not yet, things come and go, we don't know yet if some new entertainment will take over. It's happened with old entertainment and could happen to streaming too. That said I have no idea what would kill live streaming, I think the social bond people feel is too strong to kill it. Maybe some VR/AR shit will take over.

It's not a bubble, that doesn't make any sense. People putting money into vtubers aren't trading or receiving things that they can then resell. If vtubing is a precarious position that is weak to collapse, it's because of market saturation rather than a bubble. And it's not easy to determine when the market will be saturated since it's not clear when the fanbase will stop growing
