I've always held a belief that if you have to defend a woman it's not worth it to defend her. Keep in mind when I say this: I'm 6'7, I lift, and I can hold my own in a fight but at the end of the day I'm not the biggest or strongest dude in the world. there are probably hundreds if not thousands of people out there that could kick my ass easily in a 1v1 fight. The idea that I would have to defend myself against them on the off chance they find my girlfriend attractive and if I lose she immediately switches over to the bigger dude is just disheartening. We really haven't evolved past apes in the wild in terms of romance. On the off chance you meet someone who is more evolved and actually likes you as a person instead of a meat shield that to me is what love really is.
