The holobrony's go-to defense is some form of "you're cucks for watching this streamer that doesn't pander to unicorns", when in reality the only thing that divides Niji bitches from their Holo idols is that the Nijis are more honest about their status. You're the ones who are so afraid of the possibility that your oshi might not think you're the most important thing in the world that you would rather live in delusion than reality - and THEY'RE the cucks? Like, that's some fucking projection right there.
I also contend with the assertion that unicorns are the most important fans, economically. Looking at NijiEN's superchat numbers vs HoloEN's, the gap isn't THAT huge. Not nearly what you'd expect given the difference in subs, so if anything, Niji is either MORE efficent, or subcount doesn't matter so much past a certain number. Furthermore, in my own personal experience, having been personal friends with some pretty big youtubers (and having the chance to look through some of their finances for various reasons), for the most part, the most lucrative model is smaller donations from a greater number of fans, not particularly devoted ones who pitch in the most. That economic strategy is also far less sustainable, since oil barons tend to be fickle. And, judging by /vt/ in general, you know these SEA unicorns aren't actually donating jack shit to their oshi, they're just here to shitpost. Hell, Enna doing something like this might end up being more beneficial, judging by the BASED replies and people like Shigure Ui or Mea or Kuzuha. Did his revenue drop after people realized he was fucking blue oni?
Your posts reek of self importance and some pretty serious insecurity, holofags.
