Okay, so she has a boyfriend but I don't really get it. Why is that so much of a problem? I'd argue Rushia, Gawr Gura, Korone and so on are not alive to begin with.
They're fictional personalities, with an actor lending them a voice. Who cares if that voice actor has a boyfriend or not?
I'd say all of these voice actors act differently than the characters they play.

I don't particularly care myself, but it seems to stem from the fact that she is basically the queen of GFE. Calls herself her fans girlfriend, is threatening and acts yandere when she sees evidence of them talking to "other women" or watching other Holos. Tells them to love her and only her.
Basically, she panders a shit ton to lonely men, not just as Rushia but also on her roommate (there's basically no distinction between Rushia and her roommate as she acts exactly the same on both).

This. I don't really care about GFE, and if a Vtuber doesn't want to go that route that's 100% okay. But if you're going to make a big deal about "chat is my boyfriend" or whatever I feel like there's a certain obligation to follow through or at least be dedicated as fuck to not letting the truth out. Someone like Rushia or Kiki having a boyfriend is a bigger deal than say Pomu having a boyfriend, even if neither is that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.
