Usually they don't have time to watch and draw/create merch for everyone. I made casual chit chat with an artist and they usually only make stuff of things they're gonna for sure sell, so a lot of popular shonen shows and gacha. With covid fucking up the supply lines, impacting travel, and them wanting to get rid of most stock before flying back home, I don't blame them for being overly conservative. The artist I talked to, in terms of Hololive only sold Pekora, Coco, Gura, Korone and Migo keychains. Thankfully the stale right next to them sold merch of all of gen 3 and Myth.
