1a. Some people get really fucking invested and "have to find out" extra stuff since they have (in my opinion) fallen too deep
2. People who want to stream are at the very least not averse to attention, and are commonly "attention whores", so yeah they are going to have somewhere they post about their irl stuff, which makes it easy for the people interested to find it
It's a multifaceted thing.
