>>1841388>I don't want the entire world to be 4chan.and nobody's asking for that. you don't see me posting my name and address on here -- anonymity is key.
what does a v-tuber offer? the best of anonymity, being able to divorce your real identity from your true thoughts and opinions and self, as well as some of the benefits of personhood, namely a face, a character that can be used for long term conversations, a history, and a personality.
when i type this i lack everything at the end there. you have no idea what my face looks like, what i sound like, anything like that. for all you know i'm using a neural network to write this for me with minimal human input. for all you know i'm copy and pasting old posts to respond to you. point being we are forced to make sacrifices, significant ones, to achieve this level of free thought and discussion.
v-tubing, as a thing, does not require removing all these things for the benefit of freedom from the self.
it is the natural higher form of communication.
v-tubing is freeing everybody from their bodies. vr is freeing everybody from their bodies. this is what humanity should strive for and if you disagree you're a hypocrite for using this site. you should even leave immediately because this is a deeply engrained philosophy within most users.
this isn't just cute anime girls. the VR world more than demonstrates that much, for sure, and it is far more archaic, with barely any facial animation/conversion or general help in translating the best aspects of personhood to the anonymous world.
