The top of YouTube out performs the top of Twitch in general. The problem is that for the vast majority of people getting there is a bitch, but for a corporation with a brand like this? YouTube is easily better.

I think there could be an interesting discussion on the effects of deal streaming like JP did with BiliBili where you don't care about people chatting there. I definitely think there could be a positive short term effect. Long term though is complicated because streaming on Twitch might make it harder to convert someone into making a superchat or membership.

I don't know if the audience on twitch is that great, I only see Ironmouse and Nyanners getting like 5-6-7k usually and they're the biggest twitch vtubers. The B-tier Vshoujo and people like Vei and Snuffy are getting like 2-3-4k.

It's this. Ad revenue driven from VOD views doesn't exist on twitch. There's also no CMS (content manager system) support on Twitch, so they can't own/operate the individual channels with admin/manager permissions. Too much power to the creator.

There are Editor roles on twitch, not sure how they compare to CMS since no one really uses Twitch for VODs. Many twitch streamers have their VOD archive on youtube for previously provided reasons and it works pretty well for them.
