>>19098246If Rushia just shut up and went radio silent after getting fired, then maybe Cover would get more shit. But Rushia followed it up with the most amazing PR Kamikaze and directed all of the bad will towards herself.
Rushia's follow up only made it so that the controversy got a lot of eyes on Hololive, and everyone saw Cover handle the situation well, initially Cover took a stance saying they don't interfere with their talents' private lives, which made the "Corporation Controlling talents" way weaker. And then fired for a very valid reason after looking into it further. Cover's reputation is still good.
Most of Rushia's audience would probably just get more attached to other 3rd gen members after that tearful emotional announcement.
Her top donators feel betrayed, and aren't really on her side. Most of them will probably still remain to be Vtuber whales, and probably in the Hololive circle as well.
With recently debuted Gen 6 and other concerts, projects planned. Hololive has good future, in fact all of Hololive Drama has only helped it grow.
