heres some context on one of the biggest scandals in kpop history
basically to cut it short, t-ara was a top 3 gg at the time in 2012, they were the first kpop group to top the japanese oricon chart and were absolutely killing it in korea - literally everyone knew and loved t-ara until one day one of their members 'hwayoung' wasnt able to perform for their upcoming japanese stage and told everyone last second that she wasnt performing. so the girls had to quickly redo their choreo to suit it with a member missing, the members then took to twitter and posted sly tweets
from there the public starting finding videos and shit that apparently show them "bullying hwayoung" and hwayoung pretty much confirmed it to be true so the t-ara girls lost all of their acting gigs, cfs etc. they became a dead group
fast forward to 2017 and former t-ara staff members came out and pretty much said that hwayoung was the one doing the bullying, and the general public completely 180'd their thoughts on t-ara
t-ara then had a comeback later in the year, but by now they are almost a forgotten group. but it led to something truly special...
