The thing with adhd meds is that they work like speed for people who don’t have an adhd, while for those who have it it has the opposite effect (calming). The whole meme is kinda dumb to me as well

Kinda but it really doesn't calm you. It alerts you and you feel it.
It can be seen as calming from the outside because it makes you head more clear and focus instead of trailing all the time.
