This is not unusual for people who spend a lot of time in a foreign country where their native language is barely spoken or spoken poorly. Hell, even other English accents can infect a native speaker and have them sounding like a weird mish mash of where they're from and where they live.
Where she acquired her original accent. idk, probably culture or her parents or something but people in Georgia generally don't sound like that.
