It is to be expected. They have already stopped any ongoing and future recruitments for ID and KR, I don't think anyone would really believe that the merger of their foreign branches is for the best interests of the talents belonging there.

Devils advocate but there's still a chance people speaking those languages could get in as part of the main branch. And people speaking multiple languages isn't preferred hard enough to be set in stone as a hard rule... but admittedly that's probably going to change too because the amount of korean speaking vtuber fans is already low. Doubly so since the stink of 541 will be on Nijisanji until the end of days.

NTA but what do you know of the timeline and what do you expect them to do? They fucked up by keeping KR far enough away to not know the inner workings of it, but what's the solution here? Kill off the whole language and make Skullface just a little bit happier?
It's a shit situation they indirectly put themselves into but at least giving the talents a chance to quit rather than try and force them to stay in an uncomfortable position is the best they could do I'd reckon.

Since this is probably being done in order to save money by consolidating management, Niji is in a tough position.
When finances are a problem it's rough but a company has to cut what is can and consolidating the branches is better than just completely offing them ( especially since it's not like the members by themselves cost the company anything).
My main worry is how much effort will go towards finding sponsorships, live 2d updates, planning events, ect. for the talents after the consolidation.
If management is actually being cut back it will be impossible to dedicate much time to everybody.
Then it becomes a situation like when a company wants to get rid of someone without firing them so they just give them meaningless work until they quit.

The closest thing to that I've seen is "This is still better than old KR management" (which is true) and "Hopefully ID will somehow be fine". I don't think anyone's said "Wow this whole situation is great and I love it".

Eh. KR management was bad enough that I'm pretty sure half of them were considering graduating anyway. Some of the IDs might graduate, and that'd be sad, but the situation is different enough that I don't think they will. It's a very tight-knit branch.
