>>469847>I'm curious to know who exactly is the most popular Vtuber in Russia...https://virtualyoutuber.fandom.com/wiki/Ork_Podcaster I'm not joking, even though it's funny as fuck. Generally speaking, Russian vtuber scene seems to be in an early stage of development, although I'm not sure how much will it grow in the future. Mana is 2nd most popular and Planya is 3rd but both have <90k subs.
>>468501The reasons why there is so much Cyrillic in her chat is her clips getting translated into Russian by a dedicated translator and cumulative effect of a large amoiunt of Russians in chat. Which means that majority of her Russian viewers are people who don't speak English that well, since English-speaking Russian weebs got into Hololive earlier the same way as Americans did - through English fansubs of cute girls playing GTA and pranking each other in Minecraft. So her Russian fanbase is somewhat isolated from other holos. She's likely the most popular one in terms of percentage or Russian audience, but I'm not sure about the size. There might be the same amount of Russians in other popular holos' streams, but they mostly use English or stay silent.
