Streaming in EN hours and not pandering to Fujo. Luxiem didn't do much better (they did do better, granted, but the gap isn't as big as it's nowadays) when they just started out and streamed in EN hours without fujo pandering either. See picrel for example. No wonder Mysta and Vox quickly moved to Asian hour almost fulltime, and Noctyx's numbers will be better once they follow their senpais' path too. Otherwise, it will probably take a bit longer for their numbers to rise (still better than NijiEN Females, though)

I'm fully aware than 1k Twitch CCV puts your revenue around the 50-70k USD mark (thanks, leakers), but do we have numbers proving that's also true for YouTube? Our rough estimates say that holos make several thousands in Membership revenue per month - some of them tens of thousands - but Superchat revenue varies wildly from member to member, and we have no idea what the revenue from VoD ads is. And even all that's with blind assumptions about how much of that revenue actually ends up in the streamer's pocket vs. the corpo. Similarly, we have no idea if medium-large YouTube indies actually have decent AdSense revenue, or if that amount is so shit that Members + Superchats is everything.

problem with Kronii and these long arc games is she spreads the playthroughs out over such a long period and so sporadically, took her months to finish Frostpunk. Meanwhile JPs will binge a fucking game over a couple of weeks with long streams to hammer them out before moving on because they probably realize coming back to games in progress over months just isnt good business.

I've seen akas from Vox's chat where Chinese girls requests him to say some Chinese romanji lines, despite him not understanding Chinese. I wonder if someone would aka him a Chinese sentence like "The red leader is ugly and fat/The east island is an independent country" just to get him cancelled if he ever read it. Yeah, I get the sense that they hired Sana as an attempt to duplicate Ina, but if the graveyard of other full-time professional illustrators who tried Vtuber debuts and then eventually stopped streaming is any indication, Ina's literally the only one capable of what she does. The realistic expectation is probably something closer to Shigure Ui showing up once in a blue moon, or Pochi alternating between bursts of activity and long absences.

Its not about that. You obviously need new gens to prevent viewer fatigue. However, if you care for the talents and not just the bottom line you also need to give a fair amount of time for the fanbase to get to know the new talents and for them to find their place before you overwhelm people with "NEW SHINY THING". I think Hololive has a pretty damn good balance of doing this.

What kind of events can NijiEN do with a lineup of 50 chuubas by 2023? Can they even play Power Pros and do an EN tournament or make 3D event concerts like NJU/Light up tones? It doesn't seem like Management knows their vision other than to increase sales because the more they increase their lineup, the harder it is to manage events without sufficient staff to operate them. Besides that, HoloEN could operate a small office in NA or Canada to operate 3D since they are financially stable by their own in the future. NijiEN probably doesn't have enough money to even dream for that other than flying their livers to Japan once a year which adds up for 20+ EN livers and ID/KR branches. If only Luxiem gets to go to Japan, others would feel disappointed too.
