Them existing doesn't demand you need to keep up with all of them.
Do you watch every single TV show?
Do you watch every anime?
Listen to every song?
I sure don't. Might be missing some right good content but I simply stopped caring and feel better for it.
If the companies suffer because of it, that's on them to adapt or die.
People got tired of vtuber videos, there's some signs it is happening with streams too, to an extent, in all companies.
This is somewhat due to covid issues calming down, but that only accounts for a small number, more so when you focus on JP exclusive companies that have essentially zero international viewership, so there seems to be something else driving that.
People will blame Youtube, but that's merely a stupid shitty glitch of a site fucking viewer counting up because "muh bots".
This is why people embracing clippers of their channels is a good thing, and more so if THEY actually do the clipping themselves.
Getting people in to your content either indirectly or directly through clips is a good thing, because they are more likely to stick around more often.
But corpos don't seem to do a lot of that for whatever reason. They always half-ass it, or ignore it, or publicly shit on poor clippers, turning off other clippers from joining in. (mainly retards like bad subbers, fucking red and black, but it still leaves a bad taste)
Most people don't catch livestreams. The more subs they have, the higher that usually is.
Some of them never see those streams, or even the videos. This isn't a case of "yeah but but the Youtubes! The bugs!", they sure make an effort to come to the special events, but somehow conveniently get excluded by an algorithm every other time, so it is clear they monitor other sites that aren't a buggy shitfest like Youtube is. (mainly Twitter)
A lot of people simply aren't interested in most streams, and even more than that subbed because they saw one funny stream and likely never watched them again. (like Kizuna went through)
