Just kidding, because it's not just ex-sportsball fans that watch vtubers. Sub in /sp/ for several other boards where baitposts no longer go as hard, sub in for all the vidya games that ban for toxic chats, or the myriad of forums that are dead/404 due to the consolidation of the internet into facebook/google/reddit/twitter. Contrast to vtubers where you can stir up shit with some classic drama posting and get guaranteed replies from a ready audience.
Vtubers (for fairly obvious reasons) have become a Focal/Schelling point for flamers, trolls and dramafags, and the various discussion forums for them will always attract this.
