Gura was over a million herself before joining Hololive, if I recall. And seemed to make many times more money than she did on her old channel, even when her Gura account was still smaller in total subs. So abandoning a large channel to join Hololive isn't unprecedented or inconceivable.

That said, given how Hololive seems to have the most rigid behavior guidelines of all the streaming corps, they probably wouldn't voluntarily touch someone so controversial with a ten-foot pole.

Is there a receipt of someone in vshojo saying, "Go ahead and release the video" somewhere they haven't posted? I keep hearing about receipts but I find it hard to believe they'd green light the ruining of an investigation that has been in the works for months, targeting a threat to their company, all so that a stranger could make money/rep off it with no tangible benefit to vshojo itself.

I watched him for a like a week a long time ago because he was coverring shit I wan vaguely into and I wanted background noise at the time.
