Miko... I'm not sure. She was originally a stand-alone (meaning part of no generation or group) sponsored by Cover. I strongly suspect it was an attempt to make a rival/copycat of Kizuna Ai, which was also one of the very few full-body 3D vtubers at the time. They must have decided that the costs involved were too high compared to the money they earned, since all the later generations launched as Live2D instead of full body 3D.
Since Miko launched so early in Cover's career when they were still on shaky ground, she might have had far better contract terms than people who join nowadays. Could be she has the rights to her model, but that's just speculation.
