>>19782382>if someone shoots a basketball from midcourt and makes it do you now assume they will never miss from there? that is the logical fallacy in claiming "myth good therefore council good"If that person shooting a basketball is part of the biggest and most successful team, then they would have the skill to do so, otherwise they wouldn't be there now, would they? As I said, if Sana is able to get into Hololive, then it means that she is either talented enough to meet their standards (which she is when you take into account her career outside of Hololive), or everyone else just didn't meet expectations.
>that is the logical fallacy in claiming "myth good therefore council good"Council are able to meet similar liveviewers, superchat amounts etc. when compared to Myth. So yes, if myth is considered good, then council must also be considered good as they can usually get similar numbers to Myth, if not beating them occasionally if you look at Mumei and kronii.
>This is even ignoring that "myth good' could be debated.Personal preference and nothing more. Raw data, raw stats shows that Holomyth is the most successful vtuber generation in the west, and is at the absolute worst the second best generation in the wider vtuber sphere. Gura alone is the most successful vtuber right now, and likely will be for the foreseeable future. Anyone saying "myth isn't good" might as well be honest and say "I don't like myth".
>Yes they have numbers but numbers mean nothing beyond being numbers. And you accuse me of baiting. Numbers are important regardless of what you say; they show a vtuber what content is getting attention and what isn't, they show if the vtuber is seeing growth or not, it's likely that sponsers use it to determine who they're going to approach for a sponsership (or are you going to tell me that those don't count despite various vtubers and streamers claiming the opposite?). Numbers, wether you like them or not, are an important part for vtubers to see where they are going right and where they are going wrong.
