it's not like the fucking sketches girls make for themselves, the customer doesn't necessarily share their vision or accept whatever they put out as long as it has the specific characters
you start of a project sketch following the commission, then check back with the management/customer, discuss any changes/adjustment, sometimes requiring you to redraw the whole piece, then similar process takes case for coloring and shading, shit is painstaking
