31 Days Later Edition

It's finally over. Mouse has always been open about things she's wanted to accomplish in her new streaming career. It is, after all, her only outlet to the world outside of her bedroom. One thing she's brought up on multiple occasions is an uncapped subathon. She was there when Ludwig famously did his, and in the final moments of her own subathon even brought that up. Saying it was a weird feeling to see his screen fade to black, and watch him go offline after having been a constant in people's lives for a full, uninterrupted month. Since then she's grown by a huge amount, and even got to collab with the guy! Something he repaid by actually visiting Mouse during her own subathon a couple of times. It's been a wild fucking ride full of ups and downs and we all got to learn a lot more about Mouse because of it. Too many fun collabs to count, time spent detailing her medical past with both Corpse Husband and Layna, and even a serious bit of drama when she realized she wasn't given the right amount of medication and needed to contact her pharmacist at one point. 31 days later and it's finally come to an end, and she can mark this off of her bucket list.

It even ended in a natural way! The timer hit 0 all its own, and it was a bit surprising to see how exactly it went down. There was no huge rush of relief, sobbing, and all the stuff you'd expect if you've ever watched Mouse try to process emotions. She laughed it off, failing to even notice the timer hit 0 for about a minute. And then Snuffy dropped in. Completely randomly even, as she said she couldn't sleep and decided to visit at a time that just so happened to be seconds after the timer hit zero. The two conversed, and it wasn't long before we also saw the monkey. And then Silver. And then Nyan, Aethel, and even Corpse! She got to talk about her feelings... and THEN the emotions that had been edging since the timer initially hit zero came out. She talked about how many times she felt like doors were slam shut in her face due to her medical needs. Things she wanted to do that would forever remain out of reach thanks to her condition literally not allowing her to even try. By the end everyone was sobbing, and it was very nice to hear Silver proudly say she'd kick down every door slammed shut in Mousey's face herself if need be.

There's been negativity around it, sure. I'll admit that I've been fatigued by the entire thing since the second week. Plenty of people have been. But it's still surreal to just see it all end this way. This period of time can be marked as the Subathon Arc, and it ended with a comfy gathering of friends in the wee hours of the morning as the sun rose. So, what now? Do what you always have. Keep things comfy in the thread by ignoring and reporting bait to the best of your abilities, and be excellent to each other.
