Do people unironically care about this? I don't, I just don't want homos throwing into the mix because I like the current atmosphere. Think of anime, most anime have mixed genders. But putting guys into a moeblob anime would fundamentally alter it, and completely kill its appeal. Imagine GuP or K-On with a bunch of dudes in the mix.
