If ever Sora and FBK retires (hopefully to be part of mngnt). The next "Leaders" of Hololive are going to be Suisei and Subaru. Suisei can fill the Sora-role of "the penultimate Hololive idol" while Subaru can takeover FBK's spot as the one who sets the tone and culture of the company since her personality and rapport with all the members can help direct the ship. Rurinee knows Roberu and is somewhat acquainted with Suisei (assuming they got to know each other from their indie times). This girl is part of the group Rurinee is managing which is how Suisei got to know her, leading to this wholesome story.

Unfortunately, unlike the close knit environment of JP vtubing which mostly evolved out of NND+Utaite communities which is already well established, EN vtubing is literally all trendchasers and yab machines, and so indie promotion in this sphere is not really something that can be done carelessly.

for example, most of her streams that are above 100k are those which have brought in viewers outside of her actual audience like the collabs with suisei and flare, and the collab with lui and chloe
haachama fucked with her channel too much under the hood and I have no idea if it's salvageable at this point

That is part of it but Cover also really handled it well all things considered. They first released the statement defending her which got a lot of people on her side and then quickly terminated her before things got out of control. Cover's crisis management is legit good and Nijisanji could learn a thing or two from them. They really learned how to handle this shit after the Taiwan yab.
