Those are round-number figures they gave to the newspapers. The actual numbers are probably different. Hollywood is known for its "creative accounting".
The problem is the advertising budget. It costs $50 million or more to advertise these movies. Even if they shortchanged the advertising, it's still in the $10's of millions of dollars. This movie was anticipated to gross $245 million, but looking at this chart:

This movie was a huge loser for investors. Just like most Hollywood movies these days. The entire industry is supported by a few big blockbusters that cover the losses the other movies are making. The entire industry is in crisis.
