>>2015847Perspective from an outsider has no bearing on how the company functions on the inside. Perhaps they are doing a big project that only be shown when it has reached a certain level of quality? Perhaps they are wasting money after all? Nobody knows except from the higher ups themselves.
What we might be able to guess is quite minimal, but for example, from their concert a few months ago, we can guess that the tracking tech is both lighter and less clunky, since the girls are able to move around alot (including cartwheels) and not get tired out as easily as before (around a year ago Suisei mentioned how heavy the tracking for 3d was iirc). And if the girls were doing the 3d in VR, it means the VR headset is much smaller and does not interrupt facial tracking.
Things like
>>2015913 are honestly not that uncommon in development, 3d rendering is clunky and prone to clip into each other all the time, the question is whether it gets fixed or not.
Again, we can only see the results of the software side, while the software and hardware themselves are still company secrets. Perhaps they developed a new hardware and has to build up a new engine from scratch, or perhaps they have really stagnated and decided that just getting new gens in is enough, we as viewers cant say.
I might be wrong here and am missing vital information, if thats the case then i would be happy to be corrected
