Because divulging information about an act of intimacy without the consent of the other party requires an autistic lack of social awareness, and is a pretty shitty thing to do. Women are especially sensitive to those things, so I just find it hard to imagine she would do it. It either means nothing happened, or it means shion doesn't want to talk about whatever happened. Specifically she says she doesn't remember what Marine says happened, so that does also leave the door open for the idea that something happened but Shion either interpreted it differently, wasn't conscious to develop memories of it, or forgot it happened because maybe e.g. she was too sleepy or engaging in sleep-sex.

It's still a pretty big eyebrow raiser to get a tattoo even if it isn't of the style that the Yakuza get, unless you're a foreigner or a returnee.

If anything I bet the reason Marine got a tattoo was that she was pirate themed anyway, pirates are organized criminals too after all, a tattoo fits with the aesthetic. Is she the only one who gets one?

I mean I think female pirates potentially having tattoos is just a thing that is in the mindspace of Japanese people due to Nami and One Piece being such a big deal when it comes to fictional representations of pirates, even if it isn't necessarily a direct reference (though it probably is, considering location)
