It's girls coming in late trying to cash in on the instant fame boost of being a vtuber. I know one and it's insane how easy it is to make it with low effort. It baffles me, because it's so saturated that you would expect this to collapse, at least for non-corporate vtubers.

What is also mindblowing is that corporate vtubers are even a thing. Aren't people aware that it's a company paying a girl to impersonate being your girlfriend, just to siphon your money out of your pockets? Men are so fucking lonely these days holy shit

I didn't say there are memorable vtubers designs. It all looks like children designing characters and sending it to the board.
The only thing that makes a vtuber memorable is a situation they got famous for. And that baffles you, because you'd think people are smarter than to watch something exploiting their mental health.

It was definitely the most apparent on valentine's day. Calling their fans their valentine dates and shit. And then you see guys eating it up. I just feel sorry for them, in an empathetic way
