Ame is probably the best example of a hololiver people probably think has some kind of disorder, but is blatantly neurotypical and just hams shit up for content. Her roommate never once "hic"d in the half decade she spent streaming, yet the moment Ame shows up, the hic thing instantly becomes a prominent part of her character and a running gag.
They're all pretending. This is literally all for show. No corporate vtuber's cute anime girl quirk is authentic. I've been watching vtubers for nearly two years now, I'm not shitting on vtubing or anything, but you need to take a step back and see past the illusion a bit if you find yourself having an earnest discussion about whether or not these girls are autistic.
