Rhythm games are mindless repetition without variance.
Rhythm games are so boring because once you already played the beatmap once, you've essentially already know exactly what to do and have no need for a strategy or to think about any changes in the song because it's the exact same mapping every time
If beatmaps were dynamic and changed every single playthrough while still remaining on beat, that would be good.
