Not quite the same but I bought Lamy's birthday goods last year, they got return'd to sender, and it's been nearly a year and I've heard nothing back from my forwarder.
A shame too because I bought a full body pillow for that Lamy daki cover and now it's just sitting there.

The way it works is that there's a sales period of 1 to 3 months where they take all the orders/payments. Only THEN does shit go into production(for the exact amount of orders) and the long ass shipping process can start
