>>20320133 That whole stereotype mostly originated in the US. The origin of „Germans are into scat porn“ was Americans being into scat porn. It dates a few decades back into the 70s and 80s. There were a few production companies for fetish stuff in Germany but back then the distribution of such types of porn were illegal in Germany and there was basically no market to begin with. But that wasn‘t the case in the US. So back then pretty much all German produced scat porn was made to be exported to the US. The US didn‘t import German mainstream porn because that was produced locally. So most German porn people came across back then was hardcore fetish stuff.
But the thing stands Americans think German are into scat porn because they bought all the scat porn for themselves which couldn‘t be sold in Germany. So the better question would be why are Americans so into scat porn.
