She then cut ties with makutan as she didn't need him any more and refused to give back the equipment or pay him back the 70k. This made makutan mad as he was banking on being a "famous producer". He then leaked chat logs that Hitomi had gotten the money from him.
Hitomi then tried to push off her responsibility in the matter by claiming that makutan sexually assaulted her over the money on Niconico. People initially didn't believe that makutan was involved with Hitomi so he uploaded her audution tape. This proved that he was involved in Hitomi's audition. Makutan then published her school information, address, and other private info and said that he did have sex with her, that she was underage at the time, and he would gladly go to jail for it because the matter of her taking 70,000 from him would come out too and she'd be in legal trouble as well.
Cover had no other choice but to drop her as she was becoming more of a problem than an asset at that point.
