>>20359953Kiara is the only girl in Myth who captures the spirit of Japanese streamers, she knows how to play along for the show and what setups to establish to get people invested. Now she's more composed, what seemed like obnoxious domineering in her early days is now something of a refined showrunner.
The rest of EN became comfortable as Western streamers, and that's good in its own way, but Kiara is now irreplaceable as the person who still injects the culture that made people love Hololive in its early days. She brings the variety streams, the song cover collabs, the in-group cheerleading, the idol structure of watching someone work hard even despite the troubles of day-to-day that makes you relate and cheer for them.
Council doesn't have its own Kiara and that's why I think they don't have any dazzling moments. Hilarious, memorable moments, for sure, Council are still good, but have you ever stopped and looked at council as a group and said "this inspires me"? They don't have that storyteller who sheds the light on how much work they put in and give the planned projects the hype or narrative to make it creep into your heart.
Be careful who you make fun of in Debut.
