I'm able to read enough to play slow-paced games like Dragon Quest. The main problem is not doing enough reading still though. If I had been doing it properly as of 10-12 months ago I'd probably be in a good spot, but I am a lazy cunt and most days I just do cards and little else.
Been reading doujin manga pages on danbooru recently when I can't be arsed playing a game, and it's nice being able to read so much. I doubt I'll be able to output for another year or two because of how shit I am at grammar though. I need to get started on VNs so I can use a text hooker instead of OCR or radical based lookup since that shit takes a lot more effort.
