>>20591327None of these are really specific to a particular group like Hololive or Nijisanji, but they're just things I'd like to see more from Vtubers in general.
>More X-Alongs other than watchalongs (read/listen/etc.)I thought it was neat when Ame did it with some OSTs and anime openings, though the format could use a bit more structure, like focusing on a series or artist. I'm surprised I haven't heard of Calli never doing anything like this, being the one member who does non idol style music.
Readalongs could be fun too, even though I have trouble picturing how it would go.
>Better merchThis is mostly an issue I've had with Hololive. Even when it's a vtuber I really like, their merch never feels like something I'd want to own. The Omocat collab merch was well designed, but I wouldn't be caught dead wearing most of it. I think they focus too much on the idol aspect. One bit of merch I like is actually from VOMS. It's a Pikamee wall charger for a phone or anything that uses USB. It's nice because it plays into the character she plays as an electric monster, and it's nicely designed on a visual level. It's cute, but not in a "marketed to complete losers" kind of way. I guess my main issue is that a ton of the merch looks like the kind of thing where if someone saw it they'd probably ask "Is this a porn thing?" It sucks. I like having decorative stuff of the things I like, but I don't want to be seen as an even bigger weirdo than I probably already am.
>Wider variety of games being played. I understand that the corporate vtubers need permission for stuff, but when everyone's playing the same stuff, it doesn't feel as fun. I can excuse multiplayer stuff like MK8 or Phasmophobia, but when they're all doing the same single player games like Jump King or Getting Over It, it just feels kinda boring. I may also just be biased when it comes to this, since most of the games they play aren't anything I care about, but sometimes something will shine through, like Ina will play Wonderful 101 or Selen will play Sonic Adventure, and that's cool, because nobody else is doing it., and it's nostalgic too. Personally if I could choose some stuff, I'd like to see Noita, Stick Fight, Shadow of the Colossus, or maybe some older, but not retro, Nintendo games like Gamecube through Wii U era stuff.
