Mental state of your Oshi.

No.20598377 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Alot of people talk about how they support, how they anti, and how their oshi has grown.
A sad reality comes when the truth comes out, and an event darkens the past, and future of your Tuba.
Quite a few have fallen this year.
Rushia,
Bunny,
Bahroo,
Sahruei.

Of course, many threads talk about the drama they have been through, and all they have done wrong,
but sadly someone is in the crossfire not often talked about, their fans.
The fans are held to to either forgive, or they turn away.
Those who forgive, are hurt because their idol is shunned, and damaged.
Those who cannot forgive, hurt because the ruin they have left implicates they were fools for liking the trash they were.
The power of their words and deceit can influence, or create an issue of trust.
From the perspective of the fans, having an idol destroyed is quite a shattering thing to behold.

The arguement "everyone makes mistakes" can be said, but alot of what they did were thought out before, not premeditated, but at some point, they did think they were on the right side of things.
Can a mistake be something they changed their mind from what they thought was their right path forward?
We are seeing just how ruthless a "mistake" or actual bad take can be.
But how the hell are the fans going to know if their Oshi isn't gonna be next from the built up karma?
Is silence toward controversy the answer? Not be involved with anyone but the Vtubing?
Clearly its quite difficult to balance the stream without unrelated nonsense causing an issue, but do you think the remaining vtubers are capable of staying stable, or will there continue to be the possibility of more chaos?

Sure, not all agencies have the same issues, but to say that seeing a community web burn it self from across the pond, is the same as watching 2 countries go to war, even if you aren't involved, what will be come of their former fans? Can they even take responsibility for what mistakes they have made, or has caused for others unrelated anymore?
This isn't an attack on those who have goofed, or on those who may in the future, this is more of a discussion of how can those without drama move forward with their regular streaming routines, without making the same, or worse, "mistakes"

Can you be certain your Oshi can avoid such a fate?
