Haven’t watched Silvervale in a while, wtf happened to her face? Like at first I thought all they did was make the mouth bigger, but after watching more I noticed something about the shape of her face seems different too now. Something’s off about it all and I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Why the hell are there wings now? Did the design switch from sci fi robot to fantasy devil?
And why are they red? Light blonde and red clash. The red and light blue clash. Maybe it could work if they replaced the blue with black. Did this dumb bitch have input on her design or something? Because if so she ruined it

Pretty sure she posted them on twitter at some point when she got a new shirt for her merch. People were commenting about how she could probably cosplay her avatar with how big they are. Think she posted it like a year or so ago, maybe even 6-8 months ago.

One common theme I've noticed with many vtubers is that they are socially awkward or anxious to the point of being quasi-functional. Being on camera in front of thousands already unnerves many of them when they're hidden behind a vtuber avatar. I can't imagine what it would be like for them without that barrier of relative anonymity.

Westerners can't into shape and symbol language + they've been taught to make everything ugly since basically birth. Your typical anime style is based on certain symbols, but westerners often fuck this up with cartoony form based shit they learned from Disney. Also they add unwanted features like overdone lips and noses, and they typically can't do neotenic features well, which is why every female looks like a 30yo woman.

It's more than just the mouth position giving a larger apparent chin - the actual apparent depth of the mouth doesn't match at all with the angle of the face; the internal mouth anatomy is too realistic for the stylized anime face surrounding it.

Anime doesn't look like Bambi and Snow White anymore, anon. And it hasn't for decades now.

But yeah, I like older anime with those kinds of features, it looks cooler than the nu-anime moeshit style that everything has now. Yeah, I know there was always moeshit but now nearly EVERYTHING has that same soft girly artstyle, regardless of the show's content and vibe.
